Refunds and Returns

Section A – Digital Goods

Downloadable Files

For products that are downloadable (3D models etc), refunds are not offered for digital goods as the item cannot be physically returned. All products are tested thoroughly to be as described. If you have a problem with a file please report it immediately as some refunds may be made on a case by case basis. Decisions to offer refunds will be made at our discretion.

Online Access

When you purchase a chapter of a comic (eg The Talos Project) you are buying access to that on-line chapter through a membership. This access never expires and will be available for as long as the website exists. Members who have the most regular purchases and longest running support may be rewarded with discounts and gift as a thank you for their support.

The purchase of an on-line comic is not normally a refundable item since you have already potentially enjoyed the content. Refunds can be considered in the event the comic is not compatible with a particular browser or device if the fault can be replicated. TALOS Creative must be given the opportunity to fix the issue first. If a demonstrable technical fault is found that cannot be resolved, a refund can be offered.

Pre-Orders

A purchase of a pre-order Talos Web Comic Chapter product guarantees release of the that chapter within one year of purchase to allow production time for creation. Failure to release a pre-ordered chapter within 12 months of purchase date qualifies for a refund if desired. No other conditions are considered for refund.

Privacy Policy

We use your Personal Information only for providing a personalised membership area, and for billing purposes.

By using this website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. While using this website, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your name (“Personal Information”).

The website is fully PCI compliant and your payment information details are tokenised and so we do not personally hold any of your credit card information if you choose to use one of the on-site payment methods.

By creating an account either through the comic subscription or through making a purchase on the store, you become a TALOS Creative customer and will be subscribed to the newsletter. Don’t worry you won’t get spammed all the time, only when something important is happening with The Talos Project or TALOS Creative. Likely no more then monthly if I feel I have news or simply info I think may be of interest to my subscribers.

Cookies

Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Like many sites, we use “cookies” to collect information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of the membership accounts and ecommerce pages.
